• Serve as a senior specialist on all aspects of a complex medical coding system and the interpretation of healthcare standardized codes
• Provide effective customer service, including answering incoming phone calls and providing technical assistance on medical authorization and billing questions
• Contribute to team projects, conduct analysis to resolve systemic problems, and report issues to management
• Serve as a technical specialist on medical bill processing systems and coordinate utilization reviews
• Analyze medical coding processes and ensure appropriate bill payment processes
