Psychologist – VISN 21 CRH Suicide Prevention 2.0

This position is for a psychologist specializing in Suicide Prevention under the VISN Clinical Resource Hub. Duties: The position’s responsibilities entail identifying and treating the multiple factors of suicidality. Tasks include reviewing medical records and previous psychosocial assessments, consultation with referring providers, development of thorough plans for alleviating current symptoms, provision of evidence-based psychotherapy services such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Suicide Prevention, Problem-Solving Therapy for Suicide Prevention, Advanced Safety Planning, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and crisis intervention in the context of treatment. Successful applicants will have telemental health experience and training/expertise in assessing and treating suicidality.
