Duties
The successful candidate will:
- Provide authoritative advice and expert technical guidance on employee benefits topics, including FERS, CSRS, FEGLI,
FEHB program, dental and vision insurance, FSA, TSP, workers’ compensation, long-term care, injury compensation, long-term disability programs, and leave programs - Interpret rules and regulations, providing expert advice on all aspects of benefits.
- Analyze factual and legal issues and provide opinions on their potential effects on agency programs and activities.
- Recognize and propose solutions to unique problems, and make recommendations concerning program plans and objectives.
- Work with managers and agency officials to plan, review, and implement new developments in employee relations.
