The successful candidate will:

Provide authoritative advice and expert technical guidance on employee benefits topics, including FERS, CSRS, FEGLI,
FEHB program, dental and vision insurance, FSA, TSP, workers’ compensation, long-term care, injury compensation, long-term disability programs, and leave programs
Interpret rules and regulations, providing expert advice on all aspects of benefits.
Analyze factual and legal issues and provide opinions on their potential effects on agency programs and activities.
Recognize and propose solutions to unique problems, and make recommendations concerning program plans and objectives.
Work with managers and agency officials to plan, review, and implement new developments in employee relations.
